Transparency in Supply Chains Act
At Atomic Pear LLC, we are dedicated to ensuring the utmost ethical and fair labor practices are employed in the creation of our products. In accordance with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act, we proudly disclose the following commitments:
We tirelessly seek partnerships exclusively with suppliers who share our unwavering commitment to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all those involved in the production of Atomic Pear products. Our rigorous standards demand that all direct suppliers certify their adherence to all applicable laws, encompassing wage and hour regulations. They must also pledge never to engage in child labor, convict labor, indentured or bonded labor, or any form of labor derived from human trafficking or slavery. Every supplier of Atomic Pear products must wholeheartedly endorse our Vendor and Supplier Code of Conduct and undergo third-party training to promote responsible production and safeguard human rights.
To assess the risk of human trafficking within our supply chain, Atomic Pear will engage a third-party social compliance assessment and auditing firm. These assessments are based on both location-specific risk factors and precise information about the factories responsible for crafting our products. We will actively collaborate with this independent third-party auditor to conduct regular audits and verifications, ensuring compliance with our stringent company standards and applicable laws. While our audits will typically be announced in advance, Atomic Pear retains the right to perform unannounced audits on all factories involved in our product creation. Depending on the gravity of any findings, we will either initiate a corrective action plan with suppliers falling short of our standards or, in cases of serious violations that cannot be rectified, terminate the supplier relationship. We prioritize the education of our employees and production teams on the issues of slavery, human trafficking, and responsible sourcing. Atomic Pear demands that all employees and contractors uphold our company's standards regarding slavery and human trafficking, and encourages them to report any concerns related to vendors, factories, or individuals within our supply chain who may be failing to meet these exacting standards.
